Shaheed Dweep (Neil Island)

Natural Bridge

Natural Bridge

Hidden along the rocky coastline of Neil Island (Shaheed Dweep), Natural Bridge is one of the most unique natural attractions in the Andaman Islands. Locally known as Howrah Bridge, this naturally formed rock structure has been created over many years by the continuous action of sea waves on the coastal rocks.

Unlike a typical beach destination, Natural Bridge offers a completely different experience. Here, visitors walk along the rocky shore during low tide to witness fascinating coral formations, small marine creatures, and the famous natural rock arch standing above the sea. The surrounding area is a favourite among photographers because the combination of blue water, rocky landscape, and unique formations creates a beautiful coastal view.

The best time to visit Natural Bridge is during low tide, when the rocky path becomes accessible and you can explore the area comfortably. It is usually covered as part of the Neil Island sightseeing tour along with Laxmanpur Beach.

A visit to Natural Bridge is not just about seeing a rock formation; it is about experiencing the untouched beauty and peaceful side of Neil Island.
